mdflow is a simple file viewer and editor for Markdown (.md) files. Our primary goal is to provide a local-first utility.

• Local Files: Our app requires access to your device's storage to open, read, and save .md files. We do not upload your files to any external servers. All editing and viewing happen locally on your device.
• Permissions: We request permission to access your device's storage/files via the File Picker plugin to enable the core functionality of the app.

2. Third-Party Services

To support the app and provide certain features, we use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

• Google Play Services: Used for app distribution and core Android functionality.
• Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect data such as your Device ID, location (if enabled), and interaction with ads to provide personalized advertising.

In the case of an error in the app, we may collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our service, and other statistics.

We value your trust in providing us your information, but remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable. Since mdflow operates primarily offline for file editing, the risk is minimized.

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
